The Hyperice Movement Project Class
Hyperice has recently launched a movement in mobility called the Hyperice Movement Project. The first ever Hyperice Movement Project was held at Project by Equinox nesltled in Nolita, NY. Led by Nike Master Trainers Kirsty Godso and Lauren Williams, also known as the Pyro Girls. The 90 minute class combined Godso and Williams signature HIIT and Hyperice Movement Enhancement Techniques perfected in professional athletic training rooms.
This time was an invite only comprised of three different guest lists- First class was filled with trainers and coaches from Barry’s Bootcamp, Flywheel, Soulycle, Fhitting Room, S10, Tonehhouse, and SLT. To get everyone loos, the class started with 15 minutes of muscle activation using the Hyperice VYPER,vibrating foam roller, levels 2 and 3. Once the class was ready to move, the group went into 60 minute HIIT class with kettlebell, pull ups, and of course the signature PYRO Girl move called the Sriracha, a combination of an ice skate and burpee, appropriate name, since your legs will be on fire! Considering everyone was from the top fitness studios and classes, it was no surprise that everyone was competing to jump higher, move faster for an added level of friendly competition. The next two classes consisted of the top editors from Self, Shape, Health, Men’s Fitness who by no surprise brought the heat for round 2 and 3 with the Pyro Girls.
